Be a SUPERHERO to a homeless cat?

We're thrilled to share that our inaugural Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) clinic took place on March 22, 2023. This marks the beginning of our "Cats and Traps Project," which has successfully launched with the support of the Tioga Downs grant awarded to us in 2023.

In this first session, fourteen cats from eligible communities in Bradford County, PA, and Tioga County, NY, were spayed or neutered. Additionally, thanks to the grant, some cats received further medical care they needed. These cats have started a new chapter in their lives, free from the cycle of reproduction and vulnerability to preventable diseases.

Getting this program up and running was no small feat; we faced numerous challenges along the way. However, we persevered and are now eager to extend this helping hand to more cats in need, contingent on the continued availability of funds.

As veterinary costs continue to rise, the grant funds will quickly deplete, necessitating a halt to the program unless we secure further financial support from the community and other financial sources.

We invite you to be a SUPERHERO, by sponsoring a cat, either individually or as a group, to help us continue the program. Your sponsorship can significantly impact controlling the local cat population, benefiting our community's colonies, farmers, and residents alike.

 

With a $100 sponsorship, you become a SUPERHERO in the life of one cat.

Your sponsorship will provide each cat with free:

•             spay/neuter

•             Vaccinations

•             feline leukemia and feline AIDS test

•             Internal and external parasite treatment

•             Dramatically improve the health of the cat

•             Improve overall health of all cats in the community

•             Encourage humane ways to solve overpopulation issues within the community

•             Reduce the number of cats going into shelters and/or being euthanized
